The year 2017 was really tough on Medilync and it‘s founders. Only couple of months into the year one of our co founders and CTO decided he wanted to do something different with his life and we respect that of course and bought his shares and started to re-organize. These kind of changes are always difficult but after months of work on our strategy we hired a new CTO. Ivan Judson, a veteran Computer scientist, with deep research, product/program management and engineering experience. We first met Ivan while working with him and his team at Microsoft Corporation in 2015. We knew he was looking for new adventures and he is motivated to utilize next generation technology to help people live better lives.
Late in the year we managed to sign a contract with one of the worlds best hardware manufacturers, Sanmina, who can help us get our Insulync prototype the the next level.
Last but not least we ended the year on great notes. Medilync has been granted phase 1 grant from the European Commission, Horizon 2020, worth 50.000 EUR. We also snagged the Seal of excellence for our application which tells us we are on the right path.
For 2018 we will continue our work in Europe where we are applying for phase 2 grant from the EC and this relationship will give us new great opportunities going forward.
Happy new year to all and thank you to whom we‘ve worked with in the past.
